Katelyn LeAnn Overcash, age 17 of Henagar, Alabama, passed away on July 1, 2023 at her residence.
Katelyn was born in Canton, Georgia on January 3, 2006. She spent most of her life in Ellijay, Georgia before moving to Henagar, AL. She loved music, traveling, and animals. Katelyn was a caring, kind, and loving girl. Her smile was contagious, and she had a humorous personality. She was surrounded by many friends and family members who loved her deeply.
A memorial visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, AL.
She is survived by her mother and step-father Brandy Overcash Pickens and Chris Pickens; brother Wesley Overcash; step-sisters Aspynn Pickens and Paislee Pickens; grandparents Larry and Cathy Teague; sisters of the heart Jasmine Teague, Brittany Nakayla Teague, and Emma Webb; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Overcash.
