Katalin “Katie” Gibson, age 87, passed away quietly early Monday morning at Crestwood Hospital.
Katie was a devout Catholic and was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Parrish of Huntsville, and Our Lady of the Valley , Redstone Arsenal. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bill.
Katie is survived by 1 son; 4 daughters; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 1pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Michael MacMahon officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday February 6th from 6pm until 8pm at the church.
