She held many titles during her employment for the school system and was always proud of her work. Her most cherished role, working as a mentor during the M.O.M.S. program. This program was designed for young mothers still trying to obtain their High School Diplomas while pregnant or raising young children. Her role in this program came naturally as an educator, mentor, and mother herself. In all, she had 61 grandchildren born during this program, some of which graduated from local area high schools in 2025.

Her family would like her to be remembered by her kind loving heart, big smile, and contagious laugh. Karol never met a stranger and connected with everyone she met. She will be missed by many, but the impact she had on her family, friends, and colleagues will live on forever.

There will be a Memorial Service in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025, and Bro. J..R. Finney officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-3 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
