Karen Michelle Lee Meece, age 51, passed away on April 18th, 2021 in Columbia, TN.
Karen was born on March 6th, 1970 in Scottsboro, AL to Susan Gilliam Lee and the late Hubert Harrison Lee.
When it comes to describing Karen with one word, it would be impossible. Karen is a strong-willed, feisty, ball of fire with a huge heart and no filter. She truly cares deeply about the people in her life and all the furry creatures of the world. She could make friends anywhere she would go with her charismatic personality and her unapologetic way of expressing her heart. She will be deeply missed within all the lives she’s touched.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 24th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. An Honoring of Life service for Karen will begin at 3:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, with Rev. Eric Hogstrom officiating.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Brian Meece of Mt. Pleasant; sister: Melissa J. Lee of Toney, AL; mother: Susan G. Davis of Toney, AL; son: Logan Edgecomb of Huntsville, AL, and daughter: Skyler Edgecomb Dean of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Jaxxon Dean of Huntsville, AL, and Roxanne Dean of Huntsville, TN; grandmother: Allie E. Gilliam of Madison, AL; and several aunts and uncles; and her little fur babies: Ramsey, Zekey, Opal, and Salem; and a world of friends.
If you knew Karen you knew she loved flowers and receiving them, but if you would like to honor Karen another way, memorials may be made to National Wildlife Refuge System.
