Karen Leigh Catlett Houston, age 57 of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home the evening of May 22, 2022. Karen was a Huntsville native and graduated from Butler High School. She married her soul mate and best friend Greg Houston and together they had three children. Karen truly lived life to the fullest and treasured her family and friends. Karen radiated a love and kindness that touched everyone who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, David Catlett, mother and father-in-law Charles and Betty Houston, and her brother-in-law, Melvin Price. She leaves behind a loving mother, Sherry Couch; her husband of 37 years, Greg Houston; her daughters, Kylie Houston (Brian Foscue), and Jordan Parks (Josh Parks); her son, Matthew; and her sister, Marty Price. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Sawyer and Jude Parks, countless nieces, nephews, and family members whom she loved dearly.
Visitation for Karen will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 26th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with service to follow.
