Graveside service and interment for Karen Kemp Brakefield, 48, will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Bethel UMC Cemetery at Eva. AL with Rev. Terry Nappier and Rev. Henry Prator officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing . Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brakefield died on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at her residence. She was born March 30, 1964, in Jefferson County to Tom Kemp and Janice (Fowler) Kemp. Karen was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church at Eva. She was a homemaker and loved sewing. Her favorite thing to make was pageant dresses. She was a graduate of the Class of 1982 from Hartselle High School.

Pallbearers will be George Randolph, Tyler Rutherford, Robin Mason, Greg Randolph, Brad Eubanks, Steve Mason, and T.J. Brakefield.
