Memorial Mass for Karen Cecilia Creel, age 65, of Bremen, will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church with Father Patrick Egan, OSB officiating; interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation/Rosary will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church.

Mrs. Creel passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at her residence. She was born April 15, 1957, to Charles M Richard Jr. and Eleanor W Richard.
Karen graduated from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in 1978 and worked as a nurse for over 30 years. She loved to travel, and she loved to go to the lake and beach with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Miles A. Creel; parents; brothers, Charles Richard and James Richard; and sister, Ellie Manning.
Survivors include her brothers, Max (Eileen) Richard, David (Pam) Richard, and Dennis (Dianne) Richard; sisters, Leonie (Gary) Shaw and Cindy (Mark) Maloof; long-time caretaker, Gayla Seymore; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephews.
