Ms. Kamdon Ann Laman, 61, was born on the 16th of April 1958. She died surrounded by love on the 3rd of September 2021.

She gave twenty-seven years of service to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital as a Phlebotomist. The chestnut glow in her eyes sparkled bright with her love for “her Diddle”. She was a breast cancer Survivor. She became an advocate for breast cancer awareness, and a contributor to the onward progress of breast cancer research. She faithfully contributed to St. Jude, disabled Veterans, and Autism Awareness. She was a Lady Vols basketball fan and loved Pat Summit. She lives on through her children.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Sutton; son, Micheal Scudder; grandson, Herbert Lee Sutton, II; brother, Christopher Fullington (Denise); sister, Erica Potter (Bill); niece, Jessica Parker (Keith); and great niece Makayla Parker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Laman; her mother, Betty Jones; father, James Warren Jones; her father, Chester Fullington; and her son-in-law, Dr. Herbert Lee Sutton.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. A graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Interment will follow the service.

Pallbearers to serve will be Michael Scudder, Chris Fullington, Keith Parker, Brian Doles, Scott Payne, Ronald Griswell, and Billy Scudder.
