K. Eugene Pool, 74, Town Creek, died Feb. 14, 2015. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at Wolf Springs Baptist Church, with Tim Graham and Waymon Pace officiating. Burial will be in Masterson Cemetery, Town Creek.
He was a member of Wolf Springs Baptist Church and worked at Reynolds Metal Reduction Plant. He was past chairman of the Lawrence County Republic Committee and was on the State Executive Republican Committee.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit Clayton Pool, and mother, Lucille Kiser Pool.
Survivors include his wife, Benice Masterson Pool, Wolf Springs; sons, Barry Pool (Karen), Brad Pool (Megan), Wolf Springs; grandsons, Barry L. Pool, Jack Pool; granddaughters, Brooke Corsbie (Matt), Maggie Pool, Madeline Pool; great-granddaughter, Ellie Corsbie; brother, Norman Pool; and sister, Carolyn Randolph.
Pallbearers will be Chris Pool, Stephen Pace, David Pace, Tom Pace, Steve Kiser and Jeff Pace. Honorary pallbearers will be Willard Ray Dawson, Ronnie Fleming, Darryl Fleming, Don Fleming, Waylon Pace, Ted Bradford, Don Barnes, Matt Corsbie and Leonard Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Myeloma Institute, Little Rock, AK or St. Jude.
