Justin Lee King, age 32, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, March 5, 2021.

 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 4-8PM and again on Wednesday from 12-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on January 4, 1989 in Columbia, Justin was the son of Elizabeth King Dawes and the late Steve Blackwell. He attended Marshall County High School and worked in the roofing business. He loved working on cars and enjoyed fishing. He was always happy go lucky and especially loved his family.

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Abbie Lee King, Kaylee King, Devin King; siblings: Steven (Karlie) King, Jennifer (ReMeil Kinnard) Dawes, Dusty (Breanna) Dawes, Chasity Cozart; step brothers: Cody Blackwell, Clarence Blackwell; grandmother, Linda Blackwell; girlfriend, Arelis Mendoza; and nieces and nephews: Brylee, Braxton, Brynlee, Trayson, Adison, La’Kenzie, Aiden, Kaleia, Carter, Bentlee, and Braylee.

 

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rosie Elizabeth King, Carroll Lee King, and Bobby Blackwell.

 

Pallbearers will be: Steven King, Dusty Dawes, Carrington Cole, Jimmy Dyer, Donnie Hancock, and Jerry Lee Wright. Chris Childress will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
