Graveside service for Justin Keith Echols, age 25, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Rev. Roger Ammons officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Echols, who died Thursday, June 4, 2020, in Somerville, was born July 5, 1994, in Amberg, Germany, to Byron Keith Echols and Julie Anna Matthews Echols. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Eston Echols and Jewell Duncan Matthews. Mr. Echols was employed by O’Reilly Auto Parts as a merchandiser.
He is survived by his father, Byron Echols (Leigh Anne) of Decatur; his mother, Julie Matthews Echols (Tim South) of Eva; one brother, Joshua Clyde Echols of Decatur; one sister, Victoria Elaine Reeves (Andrew) of Hartselle; uncles and aunts, Tammy Simmons (Chuck) of Moulton, Charles Matthews (Carol Ann) of Huntsville, and Kristi Matthews Glazner (David) of Pensacola, FL; grandparents, Rebecca and Billy King of Decatur, and Ronald and Betty Matthews of Decatur; and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
