Junior Glynell Berry, 84 of Joppa passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his residence. Junior was born April 22, 1938, in Arab the son of James Everett Berry and Ethel Green Berry. He was a 1956 graduate of Arab High School and a retired boilermaker. He was a minister of the gospel, enjoyed playing music and singing gospel hymns, especially with his family.
Junior married the love of his life, Bobbie Nell Ward Berry, November 27, 1957. Together they raised two children: Mitch Berry (DeeAnna) and Shelia Berry Buckelew (Darrell). They also shared their love for three grandchildren: Jason Berry (Crystal), Amber Black (Matt) and Ashley Buckelew, along with three great grandchildren: Mason Black, Gannon Black and Stella Black.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Ernie Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
