June Ray Cope Riddick, age 92 of New Market, AL, passed away on March 9, 2017, surrounded by her caring family, sitters and friends.

Mrs. Riddick is survived by two sons; Jimmy “J.J.” Cope, Jeff Cope (Ginger); one grandson, Ray Cope (Rebecca); one granddaughter, Nikki Yell; five great-granddaughters, Stella, Harley, Taylor, Ginger and Brooke.

She was preceded in death by her husband; James R. Cope, Sr.; husband Edwin Riddick; parents Jack and Myrtle Ray; brother; Doug Ray and sister; Betty Ray Fitch.

Mrs. Riddick was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a lifelong member of Cameron United Methodist Church and a member of the Hurricane Homemakers Club.

Visitation for Mrs. Riddick is Sat., March 11, 2017, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service is Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at Berryhill Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Stone and Rev. Mary Scales officiating. Burial will follow at Cameron Cemetery, Gurley, AL.

Memorial donations may be made to Cameron Cemetery.
