June Hensley McDaniel age 77, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 3, 1947, in Perry County, Kentucky, to the late Andrew and Mary Smith Hensley. She worked for Ray Follis Hensley Accounting firm as the Office Manager. She was very active in First Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg and loved singing in the choir. Her faith and involvement in the church was one of her greatest joys in life. She was also very active in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and enjoyed spending time volunteering whenever the opportunity arose. She loved reading, painting, and attending aerobics classes. Needless to say, she was a very active lady!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Don McDaniel; three sisters, Reva Pinson, Faye Campbell and Connie Hensley; best friend and sister-in-law Phyllis McDaniel.
She is survived by her daughter Nikki Raymer (Von) of Lewisburg; her son Tony McDaniel (Brauninger) of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, Taylor McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel, Tyler Matl, Colby Chalk, Jason Raymer (Katelyn), and Adam Raymer; one great grandchildren Owen Raymer; one brother Jerry Hensley (Betty) of Lexington, KY; six sisters, Phyllis Tackett of Lexington, KY, Kay Trent (Terry) of Richmond, KY, Karen Deaton (Clarence), Velma Chaney (John), Teresa Haney (Randy), and Lesa Stacy (Sam) all of Hazard, KY; multiple nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service date and times will be announced when available. The funeral service will be held at Milward Funeral Directors, 391 Southland Drive, Lexington, KY 40503, with burial to follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs or First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.
