Funeral service for June Garnett, 69, will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM at New Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Standridge and Rev. Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garnett died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born June 8, 1944, in Morgan County to Dewitt Talmage Taylor and Katie Lorene Muzzey Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, that enjoyed drawing and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
