FLORENCE-The Third Annual Make Music Day Florence is set for Saturday, June 21, 2025, bringing a citywide celebration of sound to parks, porches, shops, and stages throughout the community. Held each year on the summer solstice, Make Music Day Florence is part of a global movement that spans more than 1,000 cities worldwide.
This year’s theme—“Make Music Day: There’s Something in the Water”—pays tribute to Florence’s rich cultural current and the wave of local talent flowing through the Shoals.
What to Expect:
- Free performances “Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone” across Florence.
- Open to musicians of all ages, genres, and experience levels.
- Venues—including businesses, parks, churches, and more—can register and request live performers.
- Performers can register to be matched with a venue.
- Already have a location and performer? Register your event!
