Julian Almon Rivers, age 82, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Rivers proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and served in the Vietnam War.
His visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Almon & Ruth (Lamon) Rivers; and two brothers, Michael Rivers and Clark Rivers.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 38 years, Clara Peppers Rivers; five sons, David (wife, Shelia), Michael, Randy, Roger, Kelly; grandchildren, Brooke (husband, Bret), Cass (wife, Renae); three great-grandchildren, Carter, Owen, Hayden; sisters, Phyllis Ashford (husband, Tommy), Lennie Ruth Ayers (husband, Bill); brother, Garland Rivers; and several nieces & nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
