Julia Kathryn Cowing, 95, of Birmingham, AL, and a long-time resident of Huntsville, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, U.S. Marine Colonel Harry O. Cowing Jr., sons Ralph K. Cowing, Richard C. Cowing, and Christopher L. Cowing, and brother Joseph H. Keahey.
Julia is survived by her daughter Harriet Windley, son John Cowing, brother John R Keahey, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Julia has entered the gates of heaven and will be loved and remembered forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Mass will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
