Julia K. Hass peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at the age of 89 in Huntsville, Alabama. Julia was a Huntsville native. In 1951, she was a member of the last graduating class of Joe Bradley High School. She was a charter member of Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 5th from 12-1 PM at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 2 PM at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Koonce, and her husband Wesley C. Hass. She is survived by her children Kathryn (Ron) Long and Karey Hass; grandchildren Chris (Charlotte) Hiles and Rachel (Nicholas) Ward; and great grandchildren Grace, Colin, Eleanor, and Andrew.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Family Care, 10,000 Serenity Drive Huntsville, Al 35803.
