Julia Hutcheson Vinson passed away August 20, 2018 at Burns Nursing Home.
A native of Phil Campbell, she was a homemaker and the longest member of Mount View Baptist Church of Phil Campbell.
Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mount View Baptist Church. Services will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Joan Cummings and husband Bill; sisters, Audrey Watson, Voncile Davis and husband Roy, Marge Pounders and Janice Holcomb; brother, Odis Hutcheson and wife Jeanette; grandsons Chris Cummings and wife Nancy, and Greg Cummings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Oscar Vinson; infant son, Joseph Vinson; parents, Jeff and Minnie Hutcheson; sisters, Gladys Hutcheson and Ima Jean Wood; and brothers, Owen, Lowell, Wallace, Ray and Norman Hutcheson.
The family expresses a special thank you to Hospice of North Alabama and the staff and nurses of Burns Nursing Home for their loving care.
