Funeral service for Julia Faye Atkins Travis “Judy”, 75, will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs Travis died on Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was born September 2, 1941, in Morgan County to William Coy Atkins and Dora Idella Sandlin. She was a Supervisor for Bell South & AT&T for 30 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid reader, loved the outdoors, gardening, loved music, with her favorite artists being, Ricky Van Shelton and Ronnie McDowell. She was a devoted wife, sister, daughter and friend.
