Funeral service for Judy Wilbanks Cavender, 67, will be Monday, September 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brian Wilbanks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cavender passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 27, 1959, in Florida, to James Hoyt Wilbanks and Helen Ora Johnson Wilbanks.
She was a homemaker for her family and was a wonderful cook. Judy was a faithful member of Hartselle Chapel Church and loved to share the gospel. She wrote poetry and loved to read, enjoyed music and Alabama football. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her husband- Danny Faye Cavender, her parents, and a brother- James Steven Wilbanks.

Step-sons- Tommy Cavender and Daniel Ray Cavender,
Step-daughters- Melanie Henderson and Amanda Cavender,
Brothers – David Gorden Wilbanks (Lana) and Brian Wilbanks (Georgann),
Grandchildren – Ezekial Smithson, Ethan Wyatt Smithson,
Isaac Wilbanks, Haley McClendon and Madison McClendon,
and a Great Grandchild – Brendley Reece Driggers,
a Nephew – Dylan Wilbanks and
Nieces – Audianna Reid (Nic) and Isabelle Wilbanks.
