Judy Whisenant Straub, 67, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in Decatur. Mrs.
Straub attended Mississippi State College for Women. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and a current member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Straub also was a co-host of The John and Judy Show that aired on WMSL Channel 23 in Decatur of which her
father was founder and owner of.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Straub; two sons, James (Jennifer) Kirkham of Charlottesville, VA and Franklin (Carla) Kirkham of Danville; two stepsons, Robert A.
(Dorothy) Straub of Courtland and Theodore (Aurea) Straub of Franklin, TN.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Evan Garner officiating. The family will gather with friends at 10 a.m. at St. John’s. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
