Judy Dean McSpadden Judy McSpadden, age 91, of Detroit, AL, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Diversicare in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Carter Cemetery in Detroit, AL.  Bro. David Gifford to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00pm until 12:00pm.

 

Judy was born on March 11, 1932 in Lamar County, AL to the late Harvey Clarence Otts and the late Essie Dell Gosa Otts.  She attended school in Aberdeen, MS.  Judy was the owner of Judy’s Catering since 1975, being very well known for her delicious cooking, especially her cakes.  She was a dedicated Charter Member of Detroit Fire and Rescue since 1972.  Judy loved cooking, sewing, quilting and playing dominoes.  Her greatest enjoyment though was her family which she loved and cherished.
