Mrs. Judy Mae Boyd Skelton was born March 15, 1947 in Waynesboro, TN to her parents the late Mr. Douglas Eugene “Doc” Boyd and Mrs. Dorothy Ellen Woods Boyd. She spent her childhood in Wayne County and would later meet and marry her husband Mr. Barney Cleveland Skelton Sr. and the two would remain married until his passing in 2006. Mrs. Skelton spent her adult life working in the garment industry and was of the Church of God faith, attending the Clifton Church of God for many years. In her leisure time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching television. Most of all, she loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Judy Mae Boyd Skelton passed from this life on April 30, 2025 at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN making her stay on this earth some 78 years, one month and 15 days.
She is survived by her children Shebra Jones and husband Phillip of Waynesboro, TN, Delorie Juhasez and husband Ray of Ocala, Fl, Danley Skelton of Waynesboro, TN and Delvon Skelton of Smithville, TN
