Judy Lynn Roebuck Baker lived a devoted life of service to God and her family for 71 years. She realized the promises of her faith on Sunday, April 16, 2023 when she transformed from this life to life eternal. Judy was born in Tupelo on July 12, l951, the only child of Walter Elmer “Son” Roebuck and Helen Josephine Ivy Roebuck. She lived on the Roebuck family dairy farm in Palmetto her whole life. Judy was a pleasant soul, was a master housewife, homemaker and an excellent cook, a trait learned from her mother. She loved gatherings and, for years, masterminded the Roebuck and Ivy family reunions as well as being in charge of many events at Doty Chapel Baptist Church, her home Church. She loved the outdoors, working her flower beds, camping, traveling and watching cooking videos, especially Brenda Gant. Judy had a sweet, Christ-like spirit that brought joy to her immediate family, her extended family and all those who loved her.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 10 am+ Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with Bro. Floyd Lamb and Bro. Brian Daniels officiating. Private burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 PM-8PM today (Tue.) and from 9 am-service time on Wednesday all at Holland-Tupelo, which is honored to be serving their family. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Livestreaming at 10 am Wednesday.

Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Eddie Baker; her daughters, Casey Munlin (Rodney) and Kerry Collins (Scotty) all of Palmetto; her grandchildren, Catharine Cook (Rebekah) of Lafayette, La, Seth Cook (Stephanie) of Mantachie, Nathan Collins (Jada) and Carson Collins (Lexie) all of Palmetto; 3 great grandchildren, Asher and Levi Cook and Grayson Collins; many cousins and their families on the Roebuck and Ivy side.
