Judy Darlene Stark, 77, of Sheffield, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 11:00-12:00 with the funeral service following at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel. President Eric Stevens will officiate the service. The burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.
Judy was retired from the University of North Alabama and was a devoted member of The Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Russellville Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Hazel Terry; best friends of over fifty years, Gary and Nancy Brewer; and her siblings.
Judy did not have any children of her own, but she is survived by friends who became her family: Christy (Tim ) Kennamore, Kayla (Justin) Miller, Darlene Flowers, Debbie (Steve) Charles, Brandi Charles, Stephanie (Ross) Harper, Carolyn (Dennis) Hasha, Carolyn Patrick, Laura Schreiner, Tay Alexander, and her little fur baby, “BB”.
Pallbearers are Tim Kennamore, Dennis Hasha, Steve Charles, Avon White, Haywood Lowery, and Terry Kennamore.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Patrick and Larry Flowers.
The family expresses special thanks to The Pearl of the Shoals and Gentiva Hospice Care for the great care they gave Judy.
