Judy C. Bickert, 61, of Indianapolis, was called home June 30, 2014, at her home after an illness. Judy was born in Iuka, Mississippi, June 19, 1953, the daughter of Chester and Eva June (Dowdy) Elliott. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Chester E. Elliott, in 2001.
Judy is survived by her husband, Giles Bickert; and her mother and stepfather, Eva June and Donald Thompson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East. Visitation was noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2014, at the funeral home.
