Judy Black Mills, 79 of Sumiton, passed away June 5, 22 at her residence.
She was a lifelong member of Sumiton Church of God. She invested her life and time in caring for and loving children at Ms. Judy’s Daycare. She was an avid Alabama football fan. She will always be remembered as a loving Mother and Nonnie.
Funeral services will be Sunday June 12, 22 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lane Sargent will officiate. Burial will follow at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Bagley. Visitation is Sunday 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elta and Ruth Black; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy Elta and Shirley Black; sister, Joan Black Wingo and her very best friend, Ann Chambliss.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Warren and husband Chuck, Crystal Oates and husband Chuck, Carmen Glover and husband Ken and Traci Chambers and husband Ron; grandchildren, Allison Wade (Storm), Kathryn Lane (Dylan), Chandler Oates (Casey), Chase Warren and Karlie Kitchens; great grandchildren, Luca Storm Wade, Lyla Claire Lane and Ava Brooke Wade; sisters, Faye Carden and Becky Black; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
