Judy Ann Thursby, age 80 of Sumiton, passed away on Monday June 22, 2020. She was the former owner of Mountain View Golf Course in Graysville and Jimmy’s Store for Men in Sumiton. She attended New Life Christian Assembly Church.
Funeral services will be Friday June 26, 2020 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. James Aycox will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Thursby; sons, Jimmy, Todd and Bruce Thursby; daughter, Judy Kay Norris; granddaughter, Melanie Norris; son-in-law, Steve Norris and daughter-in-law, Linda Thursby.
Survivors include her children, Lisa Childers (Keith) and Carolyn Warren; grandchildren, Carissa Fikes (Chad), Jennifer Harris (Chris), Sherry Morrow (Dennis), Amanda Crocker (Rick), Angie Thursby, Christian Davis (John), Jamie Seals (Demetrius), James Edward Thursby, B.J. Thursby and Kelly Hill; great granddaughter, Kaylee Thursby; several additional great grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.
