Judy Ann Letson, 74, of Town Creek, died May 11, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Her funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home with Ministers Robert Lee and Jimmy Munson officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Letson was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 9, 1942, to Charles and Sarah Channell Sr. and raised in Beaverton, Michigan. She moved to Alabama in 1980. She was a homemaker and business owner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Letson, her parents and a sister, Ethel Kimble.
She is survived by three children, Susan Letson, David (Theresa) Letson and Al (Beth) Letson, all of Town Creek; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leona McManus and Charlotte Sherman of Michigan; one brother, Charles Channell Jr. of Florida and best friend, Phyllis White.
She was a member of the Community of Christ Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and Elks BPOE.
