Judith Lourenna Hope, age 79, resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 25th at 2:00PM at Grace Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jason Caddy officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, February 24th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Judith was born November 25, 1942 in Rhodell, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clifford McGrady and the late Helen Stover McGrady. She had a caring heart with being a registered nurse and retired from Maury Regional Medical Center. She was a dedicated member of Grace Church of the Nazarene and was a volunteer teacher for the two-year-old class at church. She enjoyed camping. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and great granddaughters.
She is survived by her son, Frank R. Hope, II (Karen Fabian) of Rochester, MI; daughters, Victoria Hope and Cynthia Hope, both of Columbia, TN; brother, David C. McGrady (Jacqueline Combs) of Ripley, WV; sister, Karen Lantz of VA; grandchildren, Ashley Hope (Kevin) Hamilton, Lauren Mary Hope, Sarah Elizabeth Hope, and Kendyl Fabian Hope; and great grandchildren, Annelise Hamilton and Emery Hamilton.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Hope; and brother, Edwin McGrady.
