Judith Ann Freeman, affectionately known as “Maw Maw Hootie”, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 14, 2021.
She was a loving wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Dora Church of God.
Funeral services will be Monday May 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 12:30-2 pm.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Akins; brothers, H.L., Milton and Hollis Walker; and sister, Mary Waldrop
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Marvin Freeman; daughter, Mary Jo Crawford (Edward); sons, Ricky and Wayne Freeman; grandchildren, Jason Crawford (Brandi), Amry Rawlins (Casey), Mitchell Akins, Kelsey Nalls (Chad) and their kids and Stephanie; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kolby, Brice, Makinley and Sawyer; many other relatives and a host of friends.
