Mrs. Hill lived in Athens, Ala at the time of her death, but was formerly of Loretto, Tenn. Mrs was a native Lawrence County Tenn, member of the Lawrence County Tenn Retired Teachers Association, Lawrence County Tenn Historical Society, United Methodist Women and a member of Loretto United Methodist Church. Survivors are: Son – Van J. Hill and wife Mary of Elijay, Ga; Daughter – Dixie H. McFarland and husband Bobby of Athens, Ala; 3 Grandchildren – Chris Hill, Preston McFarland and Brian McFarland; 4 Great Grandchildren – Bryce McFarland, Caden McFarland, Laynnie McFarland and Grayson McFarland. Ricky Wade and Don Spencer will be officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Saint Joseph Cemetery
