Mrs. Juanita Katherine Brown, 72, passed away Saturday December 5, 2015 at her home with her family at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bass and Pearlie Doss Layne; husband, Preston Brown; brothers, Carl David, John Ed and Randy Layne.
She is survived by her daughters, Patty Smartt, Sandy (Billy Joe) Church and
Susie (Danny) Howell; sons, Derrell (Pam) Brown and James Brown; sisters, Margie Braden and Joyce Rollins; brothers, Bradley and Robbie Layne; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
