Juanita Ider Hipp, age 97, of Hueytown (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.
Mrs. Hipp loved to sing and enjoyed going to the all-day singings at various churches. She was very talented in making quilts and enjoyed making them for her friends and family.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 31 at Southside Baptist Church in Russellville. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 01, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church. Burial will be at Sunny Home Cemetery in Winston County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harding J. Hipp; daughter-in-law, Freda Hipp; grandson, Charles Hipp; parents, Thomas & Avie (Gilbert) Knight; two brothers, and two sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Larry Hipp, Ben Hipp (wife, Sharon); granddaughter, Amanda Fowler (husband, Tony); granddaughter-in-law, Lori Hipp; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Country Cottage of Russellville and to the staff of Self Health Care in Hueytown for the love and care of our family.
