Juanita Gist, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mrs. Gist was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Gary Williams and Bro. William Lambert. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers include Danny Davis, Wesley Stricklen, Hosea Thorn, Donald Crane, Chris Williams, and Gary Bullard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Gist of Iuka; one son, Kenny Moore and wife, Christa, of Iuka; one brother, J. C. Ashby of Winchester, TN; three grandchildren, Kyle Holland, Justin Holland, and Chad Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb Moore and Caden Moore. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Moore.
