Joyce S. Moye, age 75 of Belvidere, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Swaim, AL on February 7, 1946 to the late Norvell Southard and Beulah Mae Tieri. Joyce was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Winchester. She was a veteran of the United States Army where she served in the clerical department. While in the military, she was awarded several awards and medals. Joyce loved to garden, listen to Motown music, play cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and compassionate woman who always had an open door for everyone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Tieri, husband, Charles Moye, daughter, Kellie Moye, siblings, Bertie Stanley, Francis Bauer, Loyce Southard and Carmine Tieri. She is survived by daughter, J.J. Moye of Belvidere, grandsons, Jordan (Haley) Gyurnek of Huntland, Landon Moye of Belvidere, and Austin Stewart of Belvidere; special aunt Letha Haley of Arkansas; special uncle Jesse Oliver of Illinois; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
