Joyce Owens, age 73, of Decatur died Sunday November 2, 2014. Her funeral service will be Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 11:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at Peck Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00am.
She was born April 17, 1941 in Cullman County Al. to Elbert Lewis Alvis and Bessie Mae Yarborough Alvis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by Gwyn Owens

5 Grandchildren: Steven West, Kasey West Dutton, Dale Weaver, Imari Jackson and Megan Weaver.
4 Great Grandchildren.
