Joyce McNatt Smith, 74, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on March 29th, 2024. She was born on July 17th, 1949, in Athens, AL, to Boyd and Flora (Vinson) McNatt.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter Kelli King (Ben); grandsons Ezra King and Corbin King; granddaughter Riley King; siblings Shirley Mitchell (Dwight), Dwight McNatt (Carol), Ted McNatt (Peggy), Perry McNatt (Debbie), Pam Beddingfield, and Kay Callahan; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Flora McNatt; husband Roy Smith; brother Dennis McNatt; and granddaughter Baylee LeeElla King.
Funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be Monday, April 1st, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Stanley McNatt and Larry Leopard officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 1st, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dwight McNatt, Ted McNatt, Perry McNatt, B.C. Smith, Ben King, and Ezra King. Honorary pallbearer will be Corbin King. Burial will be at Ford’s Chapel.
Mrs. Smith loved her grandchildren and all their activities. She also enjoyed interior decorating, and arts and crafts.
