Joyce Marie Tidwell Cox, age 69 of Eldridge, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Tidwell Chapel Cemetery. Eddie Ayers will officiate.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her One true love, her husband-Billy Joe Tidwell; Parents-James and Alice Smith; Sisters-Ann, Marie, Wanda, June and Teresa; Brothers-Buddy, Thomas, Jessie, Danny and David.
She is survived by her Daughters-Wonda Millwood (Daniel) of Haleyville and April Kelley (Gary) of Hamilton; Son-Adam Tidwell (Shae) of Eldridge; Brothers-Eugene Smith of Eldridge and Lonnie Joe Smith of AL; Grandchildren-Lucas Millwood (Alison), Billy Haley (Desiree), Jessie, Heather Millwood, Mason Franks, Drake Avery (Alexxis), Christian Avery, Whitley Berryhill, Emily Cox (Mathew), Nelson Harbin (Trinity), Kimberly Tidwell and Jodi Tidwell; Great Grandchildren-Peyton and Paisly Millwood, Wren and Ryder Avery, Cooper Cox, Bryson Wallace, Layla Newman, Karolina and Kizer.
Pallbearers will be Mason Franks, Drake Avery, Christian Avery, Lance Hubbert, Gary Tuck and Randy Tucker.
