Mrs. Joyce Marie Stolpa of Arab, Alabama; passed away on Tuesday – November 2, 2021 at the age of 90 years. Mrs. Stolpa moved from North Carolina to Arab in 2004.
Mrs. Stolpa was born on February 25, 1931, to the late William and Edith Muthert Merritt in Gross Pointe, Michigan. Mrs. Stolpa worked at home taking care of her family. She was a member of the Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Lacey’s Spring, AL.
Mrs. Stolpa leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life, son, Eric Martin Stolpa (Sue); brother, William Merritt (Sharon); sister, Carol Ann Bogater.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stolpa is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Joseph Stolpa.
A Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. Mrs. Stolpa will lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Father John Trough will officiate the services.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Arab Memorial Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
