Joyce Marie Pinnix, age 71 , passed away Monday May 10, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro.
Mrs. Pinnix was born February 28, 1950 in Athens, Al to the late William Raymond and Sally Will West Tate. She lived in Smyrna for 40 yrs with her husband Frank and they are now residing in the Red Oak Community. She was a homemaker but most of all a loving mother and grandmother. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, brother David Cecil Tate, sisters Nancy Ann Morphis and Dorothy Jean Tate.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10 am Thursday May 13, 2021 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with burial to follow in Beech Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Frank Pinnix of Red Oak, sons Jay Pinnix of Red Oak, Eric Bullington of Lavergne, daughter Misty Fishbeck of Mt. Juliet, grandchildren Holly Lewis, Isabella Fishbeck, Skylar Bullington, and Natalie Pinnix.
