Joyce L. Cox, 85, passed away January 12, 2025, at Aberdeen Care Center in Aberdeen, MS. Joyce was born on March 29, 1938, to Stanley and Motee Cox. She attended Hurricane School and then ICC in Fulton for two years. She worked at Mid South Packers in Tupelo until her retirement. She attended West Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her brother, Larry Cox (Dianne) of Pontotoc and several nieces and nephews, Stephanie Burnett (Dustin) and Beckett and Collins Burnett, Dennis Cox (Melanie), Kaitlyn Williams (Forest), Knox and Nora Kait Williams, Karis Pannell (Landon), Cinda Berryhill (Ben) and Brody Berryhill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Motee Cox, and one nephew, Steve Cox.
Services will be 2PM Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Dr. David Hamilton officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM until service time. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
