Joyce King, age 86, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12:30 in the chapel with Bro. Michael Cole officiating. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard & Grace (Turbyfill) Mitchell; sister, Peggy Hester (husband, J.C.); and nephew, Tim Hester.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gerald D. King; sons, Jerry King (wife, Molly), Joel King (wife, Belinda); grandchildren, Joey King (wife, Morgan), Michael King, Lily Grace King, Joshua King; great-grandchildren, Amileigh King, Cooper King, and Bowen King; and a host of friends.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
