Joyce Kilpatrick Swafford was born January 27, 1932 to Carl and Eatheal Kilpatrick and passed away August 11, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Sherry and husband Gene, Joy and husband Wayne, one grandson Jeremy and his wife Megan and son August, sister Shelby Jean Jones, brother Jerry & his wife Judy Kilpatrick. She was a member of the Maysville church of Christ in Gurley. One of her great joys was teaching a Sunday school class for young children. She enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers. Joyce loved the Lord and always strove to put Him first in her life. This world was a better place in her small corner of it.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Spry Funeral Home with the funeral service following in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Rice Cemetery.
