Joyce Hale Bahena was born in Blount County, Alabama on November 17, 1939 the daughter of the late Lee Bosie and Ruby Pearl Johnson Hale.
Ms. Bahena was a self employed painter and also sat with the elderly. She enjoyed singing, nature, picking up rocks and oil painting.
Ms. Bahena departed this life on December 11, 2014 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years and 24 days.
Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5:00 to 8 p.m. at Shackleford Funeral Home in Savannah, TN. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackleford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Center Hill Cemetery, Counce, TN.
She is survived by her children, Diann Smith and her husband Donnie of Bruton Branch community and Debbie Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee.
three grandchildren, Lee Johnson and his wife Stacey of Haleyville, Alabama, Chris Smith and his wife Cori of Covington, Tennessee and Daniel Smith and his wife Tuesdey of Bruton Branch community.
14 great grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Julie Johnson, Justin Miller, Felisha Latham, Dalton Smith, Bryson Christopher Smith, Christopher Kayden Smith, Caden Owen, Holden Owen, Ian Latham, Dakota Latham, Logan Miller, Landon Miller and Athena Miller
one great great grandchild, Clyde Raburn
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Johnson Edmond and one brother, Lee Bosie Hale, Jr.
