Joyce Faye Burks Young, 77, of Killen, AL, passed away February 28, 2020 at her home. Joyce was a loving homemaker and mother and member of the Church of Christ faith. Joyce is survived by: Daughters: Belinda Carter, Kristie Leadford (Shannon), & B.J. Staggs (Greg) Brother: Joe Burks (Kay) Sister: Kaye Hess (Dale) Grandchildren: Tori Leadford, Andrew Staggs, and Elli Staggs She was preceded in death by: Parents: Joe Wheeler Burks, Jr. and Clara Willodean Behel Burks Husband: Tommy Young Brother: Ricky Burks Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 12-1:30 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held graveside at Barnett Cemetery in Lexington, AL at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Greg Dial and Jamie Burks officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Hess, Jamie Burks, Shannon Leadford, Greg Staggs, and Todd Hess. Honorary pallbearer will be Andrew Staggs.
