Joyce Crews Thomas, the loving wife of Joel Franklin Thomas, passed away on December 16, 2018. Joyce married Joel Thomas August 26, 1961, at the Post Chapel on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama by Post Chaplain John E. Batterson. She was a loving wife, mother and military wife for fifty-seven years.
She is survived by her husband; son, Joel Franklin Thomas Jr. and wife Allyn; grandchildren, Sarah Annelise Thomas and Seth Alan Thomas; and sister, Barbara Sandy and her family.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 19 at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Iron City, Tennessee.
