Joyce Chambers Strickland, age 71, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014, after a lengthy illness. She was born April 19, 1943, in Maplesville, Alabama, in Chilton County, to Calvin and Gladys Graham Chambers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 43 years, Irvin Strickland; one daughter, Karen Strickland; one son, Steven Strickland; one grandson, Benjamin Strickland; and several other cherished family and friends.
